Just when Newsweek declared that God is sinking and slinking away in American, two writers from The Economist (Editor-in-Chief and Washington Bureau Chief) writing a book declaring “God is Back!” I read an interview with the authors and looks like they have some interesting insights on the role of faith in the United Nations (yes you read that right), Europe and other parts of the world.

One of their main arguments is explores how the free market actually helps faith to thrive (which is related to a post I wrote called, “The Advantage of Not Being a Christian Nation.” They challenge the classic notion that as societies become more developed religion fades away. America is a shining example of the falsity of this claim. But they point out some the negative impacts of faith and state mixture as well.
